How It Works

The application will help deepen the debate on public security in Brazil, allowing residents of the neighborhoods most affected by the logic of the War to express themselves in a concrete and safe manner. It is a tool for the population to reveal every time they find themselves in the middle of the "Crossfire" through the application.

The app enables any citizen to share data whenever they witness or hear a gunshot. By filling out a simple and secure form, the information is turned into a notification on a map by the app.

Thus, interactively with the population, the maps generated by the application can be combined with data from other areas, such as health and education. In this process, we will gradually obtain a more realistic portrait of armed violence in the city, which will be useful for shaping more comprehensive and effective public policies to tackle the issue.
